The first image from the series, which will air on Disney XD, was released by Disney Monday as part of their ongoing Kids Upfronts, where they’ve also revealed news like the Big Hero 6 tv series and the early season 3 pick-up for Star vs. The Forces of Evil.
Disney has 17 new series, 28 current series, 785 episodes, and two new original movies they’re representing at the Kids Uprfronts, showing off 2016 and 2017 products. The original DuckTales was part of Disney’s “Disney Afternoons” line-up in the late eighties and early nineties, taking the Disney characters on adventures that often mirrored those of pop culture, like Indiana Jones, Sherlock Holmes, and James Bond send-ups.
