Ryan Gosling is out doing press for The Nice Guys, but he’s getting some questions about Blade Runner 2 along the way. The actor said with a laugh that he does “not wanna mess that up!” in an interview with IGN, where he showed his excitement for the upcoming sequel three decades in the making.

“As a fan of the film, the fact that Ridley [Scott] and Harrison [Ford] wanted to extend that story and keep going was exciting enough. The idea of getting to be an actor involved in that some way is really – I kinda can’t believe it. I’ll believe it when I’m there and doing it,” Gosling said.
