Since Lionsgate is distributing and marketing Hasbro’s first animated feature, My Little Pony: The Movie, they have released (via The Hollywood Reporter) the film’s official logo. The logo includes bubble letters, sparkles, hearts and a rainbow.

The My Little Pony: The Movie will feature all new music with the Mane Six characters voiced by Tara Strong, Cathy Weseluck, Andrea Libman, Tabitha St. Germain and Ashleigh Ball. The cast will also feature Kristin Chenoweth (Pushing Daisies), Emily Blunt (Edge of Tomorrow), Michael Peña (Ant-Man), Uzo Aduba (Orange is the New Black), Liev Schreiber (X-Men Origins: Wolverine), and Taye Diggs (How Stella Got Her Groove Back) voicing original characters.
Jayson Theissen is directing. Meghan McCarthy, fan-favorite writer and producer for the My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic animated series, is penning the screenplay, which will be produced by Hasbro’s Allspark Pictures. Brian Goldner and Stephen Davis are producing the film with Meghan McCarthy and Michael Vogel co-executive producing.
My Little Pony: The Movie will gallop into theaters on October 6, 2017.
