The Decepticon Barricade has always been hot tempered, and now he is getting a more imposing look to match.
Transformers: The Last Knight isn’t shying away from bringing characters back to the franchise, and that includes a redesigned Barricade. In his previous outings, the Decepticon appeared a bit too much like Megatron, with jagged edges and an overly silver color scheme. Now he’s got a more colorful paint job, with red and blue LED’s throughout his armor and more blue in his look overall. His build is also bulkier, and he keeps the Police lettering on his side armor plates.

Director Michael Bay is assembling quite an array of Autobots and Decepticons for The Last Knight, and Barricade will join a returning Megatron in their last ditch effort to defeat Optimus Prime’s forces. Whether that plan includes Unicron as many suspect, we still don’t know, but the bread crumbs are certainly there.
Barricade is just the latest Transformers reveal, with others including Hound, Drift, Sqweeks, and Bumblebee. We’ve also seen Barricade in his vehicle form, which can be viewed here.
Transformers: The Last Knight hits theatres on June 23rd, 2017.
