Five years ago, professional conceptual artist Nuttavut Baiphowongse (Stranger Things, Indepdence Day: Resurgence) was asked to design Bebop and Rocksteady for the first Michael Bay-produced Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles live-action film, but the mutant thugs were cut from the film. However, since the 2014 film grossed $493.3 million, Paramount green-lit a sequel and Bebop and Rocksteady, along with the alien warlord Krang, were included in 2016’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows.

In the album below, you can check out Baiphowongse‘s fantastic concept art for all three of the aforementioned villains.

Michelangelo, Donatello, Leonardo, and Raphael return to theaters this summer to battle bigger, badder villains, alongside April O’Neil (Megan Fox), Vern Fenwick (Will Arnett), and a newcomer: the hockey-masked vigilante Casey Jones (Stephen Amell). After supervillain Shredder escapes custody, he joins forces with mad scientist Baxter Stockman (Tyler Perry) and two dimwitted henchmen, Bebop (Gary Anthony Williams) and Rocksteady (WWE Superstar Stephen “Sheamus” Farrelly), to unleash a diabolical plan to take over the world. As the Turtles prepare to take on Shredder and his new crew, they find themselves facing an even greater evil with similar intentions: the notorious Krang.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows is directed by Dave Green and stars: Megan Fox, Will Arnett, Brad Garrett, Alan Ritchson, Noel Fisher, Pete Ploszek, Jeremy Howard, Stephen Amell, Tyler Perry, Brian Tee, Laura Linney, Sheamus, and Gary Anthony Williams.
