From WWE superstar, to A-List actor Dwayne “The Rock”Johnson has spent the last few years taking Hollywood by storm.

It almost seems harder to find a movie the actor doesn’t appear in, and almost every new film seems to go after The Rock as their first choice performer. His success has been unparalleled, and many will cite his experience in professional wrestling as the true catalyst to his success.
The rigorous training exercises and grueling schedules prepare WWE stars for many vigorous careers. When you mix in the added element of performing in front of a large crowd, these personalities are set up to succeed in the film industry.
While Dwayne Johnson is easily the most successful actor of the bunch, others have also followed suit.
John Cena has appeared in a couple of supporting roles over the last few years, including appearances in Trainwreck, Sisters, and Daddy’s Home. He also starred in The Marine earlier in his career.
Dave Bautista has also made a name for himself as an actor, taking on roles designed for men of his stature. After strong performances in Spectre and Guardians of The Galaxy, Bautista is nabbing new gigs left and right.
With these men out there paving the way, and the WWE bringing in more viewers than previousyears, it seems like a great time for others to follow suit.
With that in mind, here are five WWE Super Stars we would love to see take part in the DC Extended Universe.
Roman Reigns as Lobo
There may never be another wrestler better suited for a role than Roman Reigns as the bounty hunter, Lobo.
Starting as underdogs, both have risen to power by taking matters into their own hands. Neither will take any hand-outs, and they won’t hesitate to make you their enemy.
Roman Reigns is not one to be crossed, and the enormous chip on his shoulder only adds to his maniacal quest for glory. It doesn’t matter how big of an opponent you may be, Roman will find a way to put you in your place.
Much like the wrestler, Lobo is a terrifying individual. His skills as an assassin are nearly un-matched, and he loves a challenge.
in addition to all of their similarities, these two also look completely identical.
Brock Lesnar as Bane
ย
Tom Hardy wowed audiences with his performance as Bane in the 2014 film, The Dark Knight Rises. If fans of the comics could have one complaint with his casting in the role, it’s that he just wasn’t big enough.
Enter, Brock Lesnar.
This bad boy of the WWE is a giant walking among men. Standing at 6’2″, and weighing almost 270 lbs, this man is not to be taken lightly.
Like Bane, Lesnar has been put down and beaten throughout his career. With a difficult turn in UFC, and a couple of failed drug tests, Brock has been through the ringer.
These obstacles have only made him stronger, however, and Brock Lesnar has climbed out of the figurative pit.
He might not have broken Batman’s back, but he looks as though he easily could.
John Cena as Shazam
ย
Although we mentioned John Cena earlier in this post, his roles to this point have mostly been small. We think it is time for John to step into the spotlight and take over a franchise.
What better way to make your foray into comic book movies than to face-off against an old rival?
Dwayne Johnson has been attached to the Shazam! film for a while now, but not as the protagonist. Instead, Johnson will portray the arch-nemesis of Shazam, Black Adam.
How great would it be to see Cena and Johnson go head-to-head for the fate of the world, not just a belt?
In addition to the epic rivalry, Cena also looks the part of the hero. As a young boy trapped in the body of a super-human, Shazam needs and element of boyish charm. Who better to bring that to the DCEU than John Cena?
Charlotte as Black Canary
ย
Black Canary is known for her finesse, beauty, and athletic ability. If anyone in the WWE perfectly captures all of these qualities, it is undoubtedly Charlotte.
The current Raw Women’s Champion, Charlotte has had athleticism and showmanship running through her veins since birth.
As the daughter of Ric Flair, Charlotte was raised to be a champion. Dinah Lance, aka Black Canary, lived a similar life.
Dinah Lance is the daughter of the original Black Canary, Dinah Drake, and has always felt the desire to follow in her mother’s footsteps.
Both women are acrobatic champions, skilled warriors, and masters of deception. It can also be said that both add a similar level of Flair to their astounding work.
Randy Orton as Deadman
ย
Hiding in the shadows, waiting to strike, Randy Orton stalks his enemy. He can move more swiftly and silently than anyone else in his field, and that makes him perfect for the role of Deadman.
A member of the Justice League Dark, Deadman is a lethal ghost that will sneak up on his enemies time and time again.
Boston Brand, better known as Deadman, was a former trapeze artist. Following his brutal murder, his spirit was allowed to haunt the living and encompass other bodies.
While these two personalities seem different on the surface, the way they face their enemies is what makes them a perfect match. Both are high-flying and flexible in their fighting style, and both are known to deliver swift and painful justice.
Not to mention, the sinister look of Randy Orton makes him perfect for a spirit haunting the living.
