Two major characters on Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. headed for a collision course, and a new promo reveals that at least one side of that conflict is more than ready.

The synopsis for the second episode of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 4, titled “Meet the New Boss,” reveals that Quake, Daisy Johnson (Chloe Bennet), will do battle with Ghost Rider, Robbie Reyes (Gabriel Luna).

A new promo released by Marvel Television and ABC shows Quake suiting up and using her powers. As the voice-over notes, she’s ready to take on “vengeance.”

Ghost Rider is the Marvel Universe’s spirit of vengeance, making it clear that Quake is setting her sites on Ghost Rider. Can Quake stand up to Ghost Rider?

In the Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. episode titled “Meet the New Boss,” Daisy sets out to battle Ghost Rider, but at a terrible cost; the new director’s bold agenda shocks everyone.

In Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 4, in light of the Sokovia Accords, and with Hydra obliterated, S.H.I.E.L.D. has been legitimatized again and no longer needs to operate in the shadows. Since the world presumes that Coulson is dead, the organization needed a new Director to be the face of the organization. Coulson finds himself back in the role as an agent and teamed with Mack, and together they are tasked with tracking down and confirming the presence of Enhanced people, aka Inhumans. Agent May is tasked with training specialist strike teams, and Fitz and Simmons have taken a big step forward in their relationship.

Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 4 premieres Tuesday, Sept. 20 at 10 p.m. ET on ABC.
