Keanu Reeves does not mess around when it comes to preparing for his action rolls, especially elite assassin John Wick.

In the video below, you can watch Keanu train (and get a little angry) with tactical weapons expert Aaron Cohen to get ready for John Wick: Chapter 2.
Cohen is a former counter terrorism Special Ops officer in the Israeli army turned tactical weapons trainer to some of Hollywood’s biggest stars:
“Keanu is one of the hardest working people i’ve trained. He is the ultimate truth seeker when it comes to understanding and perfecting tactics. He is incredibly humble and I’m truly grateful to have gotten to be a part of his training team for John Wick: Chapter 2.“
Training consisted of over 3 weeks of pre-production tactical firearms preperation. Specific gear and tactics included concealed draw training with Cohen’s newly designed Cherries Below-The-Waistband Deep Concealment Holster, and over 40 hours of carbine combined with limited-penetration room clearing.
Cohen was part of the tactical training team selected to train Reeves for John Wick: Chapter 2, which included Judo, Ju-Jitsu, Krav Maga, boxing, 3-gun and more. Now we fully understand why Reeves described the sequel as a “third degree black belt movie.“
Keanu Reeves returns in the sequel to the 2014 hit as legendary hitman John Wick who is forced to back out of retirement by a former associate plotting to seize control of a shadowy international assassins’ guild. Bound by a blood oath to help him, John travels to Rome where he squares off against some of the world’s deadliest killers.
We’d like to see his new puppy make it out alive this time.
Lionsgate’s John Wick: Chapter 2 arrives in theaters on February 10, 2017 and development has already started for John Wick 3.
