VR is steadily building up the platform with a combination of impressive tech and accessibility, and now the goal is to get that platform in front of as many eyes as it can. That seems to be at the heart of a new partnership between AMC and Assassin’s Creed.

AMC will introduce Assassin’s Creed VR experiences to several theaters from December 2nd to January 1st. The experience will be based on the film and will be available in Austin, Los Angeles, New York City, and San Francisco. Alienware and AMD are teaming up to create the installations, which will also come equipped with Oculus Rift headsets (via The Verge).
