The Star Wars series is beloved by many, but everyone still has their favorite. For Felicity Jones, that's an easy choice to make.
Jones, who is playing Jyn Erso in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, appeared on Good Morning America to promote the film, and when the panel started discussing their first Star Wars experience, Star Wars: Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back came up, to which Jones said "Awww, yeah that's my favorite one. It's brilliant that one."
While the original three volumes of the saga are all well liked, Empire does stick out as the predominant favorite for its mix of dark themes and fantastic action. Jones was also asked why it was important to her to play this part, to which she said "Um, I just, it was the opportunity to play a kick ass girl. To be running and punching and sort of, you know she's a real livewire, she's got real spirit, and it was just a fantastic character to play."
Jones got to see one of Hasbro's new Rogue One action figures, which is of course based on her likeness. It's an incredibly cool experience to see yourself in toy form, but her nephew didn't really appreciate it as much as she did. "Recently I was showing my nephew, who's one and a half, and he started pulling the arms off, so it really brings you back down to earth."
Star Wars has built a beloved cast of characters over its previous seven films, and if you were starting your own rebel army you'd have a difficult time narrowing it down to just three. When asked who she would pick if limited to three heroes from the Star Wars canon, Jones said "Well c'mon it's got to be Chewbacca. Um, and then I would say Han Solo (placing her hands on her heart), he's very precious, and then why not Rey. She's gotta be part of it too."

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story hits US theaters December 16, 2016. Directed by Gareth Edwards, it's the first of the new standalone features from Lucasfilm and Disney, which take place outside the core "Skywalker Saga" of films noted by an Episode number. Rogue One tells the story of the small band of rebels that were tasked with stealing the plans to the first Death Star. The story spins directly off the opening crawl from the original Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope. In that crawl, it read: "Rebel spaceships, striking from a hidden base, have won their first victory against the evil Galactic Empire. During the battle, Rebel spies managed to steal secret plans to the Empire's ultimate weapon, the DEATH STAR, an armored space station with enough power to destroy an entire planet."
