Backed by a cover of the Beatles’ “Come Together” and a mix of scenes showcasing the banter and humor missing from Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, the new film looks to course correct where many critics thought Snyder’s last film veered off track.
It’s undeniable that some of the scenes showcased took some cues from the Marvel Studios films, though the finished product will no doubt be its own beast entirely. But still, there were some similarities. โจ
The folks over at We Got This Covered seem to agree, and they’ve reverse engineered that Zack Snyder formula and applied it to the first Marvel Studios team up extravaganza. In the video above, they’ve spliced together footage of the Avengers movie directed by Joss Whedon and made it in the style of the Justice League trailer.
It does a great job of taking some of the best quips and action-packed moments from the film, building them in a way to get us excited all over again for the first big screen team up of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes.
Each character gets their proper introduction and some of the most iconic moments make it onto the trailer, and yet it doesn’t give away much by way of plot. Snyder’s trailer house would be proud.
We’ll see if the Avengers: Infinity War trailer takes any cues from the awesome Justice League trailer when it hits theaters May 4, 2018.
Justice League will be in theaters before that, and we’ll get the chance to see that film on November 17.
