The comic-con season is gearing up, and leading the charge is the impressive lineup over at The CW who make an appearance on the covers of TV Guide.

TV Guide’s covers are an annual tradition, and this year Arrow star Stephen Amell, The Flash’s Grant Gustin, and Black Lightning‘s Cress Williams. Arrow returns for season 6 this year while Flash enters its 3rd season, followed by the premiere of Black Lighting.
Not content with one cover, TV Guide also debuted a cover featuring the cast of Riverdale. Stars K.J. Apa, Lili Reinhart, Camila Mendes, and Cole Sprouse adorn the issue’s cover, which Reinhart shared on social media saying “Well well well. Pretty stoked to be on the cover of @TVGuideMagazine !! Can’t wait to go to @Comic_Con next week ✨ #WBSDCC @warnerbrostv.” Riverdale will be entering its sophomore season after a successful original season campaign.
A third cover features the stars of the long-running Supernatural, with Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles taking the spotlight here. The show is about to enter its 13th season and shows no signs of stopping anytime soon.
The fourth cover features none other than Supergirl, which came to the CW after a standout first season on CBS. Melissa Benoist took fans by storm in season 2, and is ready for another stellar outing in season 3.

As for Arrow season 6, Amell recently revealed that fans might see a small shift towards the more upbeat character seen in the comics, who trades in the brooding for sarcasm and ample witticisms.
“The character that we met in season one had just gone through a horrific series of events. Now he’s a little bit more well adjusted.” Amell revealed. “I would hope that as that happens, that the character still gets to evolve a little bit. I think that would push him more towards the areas that people are familiar with in the comics. A sense of humor. A lightheartedness.”
After a violent shipwreck, billionaire playboy Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) was missing and presumed dead for five years before being discovered alive on a remote island in the North China Sea. He returned home to Star City, bent on righting the wrongs done by his family and fighting injustice. As the Green Arrow, he protects his city with the help of former soldier John Diggle (David Ramsey), computer-science expert Felicity Smoak (Emily Bett Rickards), his vigilante-trained sister Thea Queen (Willa Holland), Deputy Mayor Quentin Lance (Paul Blackthorne), brilliant inventor Curtis Holt (Echo Kellum), and his new recruits, street-savvy Rene Ramirez (Rick Gonzalez) and meta-human Dinah Drake (Juliana Harkavy).
Oliver has finally solidified and strengthened his crime-fighting team only to have it threatened when unexpected enemies from his past return to Star City, forcing Oliver to rethink his relationship with each member of his “family”.
Based on the characters from DC, ARROW is from Bonanza Productions Inc. in association with Berlanti Productions and Warner Bros. Television, with executive producers Greg Berlanti (“The Flash,” “Supergirl”), Marc Guggenheim (“DC’s Legends of Tomorrow,” “Eli Stone”), Wendy Mericle (“Desperate Housewives,” “Eli Stone”), Andrew Kreisberg (“The Flash,” “Eli Stone,” “Warehouse 13”) and Sarah Schechter (“The Flash,” “DC’s Legends of Tomorrow”).
Supergirl premieres on Monday, October 9th at 8 pm, while The Flash debuts on Tuesday, October 10 at 8 pm. Legends of Tomorrow moves to Tuesdays this Fall, airing right after The Flash on October 10. On Thursday, October 12 at 9 pm Arrow will premiere to round out the DC roster.
