When it comes to Justice League, the DC Film is expected to blow minds with its all-star cast. Heroes like Batman and Wonder Woman will lead the film alongside icons like Aquaman. And, now, Connie Nielsen is promising fans Queen Hippolyta‘s role in the movie will be something to look forward to.

Recently, the Wonder Woman actress sat down with Flickering Myth for an interview, and Nielsen touched upon her Justice League role. The star could not say much, but Nielsen did say this: “Sorry, [I can] only [say] that Hippolyta is a badass.”

Fans aren’t too surprised to hear Nielsen say such a thing. After all, her character is one that exudes a badass aura. Hippolyta may be the leader of the Amazons, but she is not like any of our real-world monarchs. The queen is a warrior first and foremost, and Hippolyta will get to show off more of her battle savvy when Justice League debuts.

Of course, DCEU diehards will have already known about Nielsen’s return in the upcoming DC film. The star confirmed she would reprise her role as Hippolyta with the LA Times, and Robin Wright said she would return as Antiope as well.

“[Wright and I] got to do more in Justice League as well. As sisters as well. Kind of badass as well. We can’t say much, but โ€ฆ” Nielsen said.

Thanks to Justice League‘s footage, fans already have an idea of how the Amazons will show off their skills. The first trailer for the movie had a short scene which saw an Amazon army advancing on horseback against a horde of parademons. The film may dive into how villains like Steppenwolf and even Darkseid have challenged Earth before, and Justice League will show how the Amazons drove the baddies back.

Justice League currently has a 4.16 out of 5 ComicBook.com User Anticipation rating making it the third most anticipated upcoming comic book movie among ComicBook.com readers.
