Netflix released another teaser for The Punisher today and this time Karen Page is getting the spotlight and the iconic skull logo treatment.
Like the promo released on the shows official Twitter earlier this week of Jon Bernthal in the title character, this latest reveal is also a motion poster this time with Karen (Deborah Ann Woll) turning to look straight ahead while pieces of newspaper come together to create the skull. You can check out the promo below.

The promo’s caption, “One of the few people he can trust,” refers to Daredevil‘s second season where audiences first got a look at Frank Castle and how Karen is one of the rare people that Castle not only trusts, but allows to get close to the ultra-violent vigilante. This closeness will likely come in handy as The Punisher picks up with Castle in hiding following the events of Daredevil until a conspiracy pops up and drags him back into a world of darkness, leading him to discover the true reason his family was targeted and what that has to do with his time in the military.
Karen Page’s appearance in The Punisher, in addition to giving the Punisher at least one ally he can count on, also gives the upcoming Netflix show a solid connection to other offerings in the Netflix/Marvel catalogue. Karen has appeared on both seasons of Daredevil and also appeared in The Defenders.
Netflix has not yet announced when The Punisher will debut on the streaming platform, but thus far all of the promos and teasers have pointed a release date sometime this year. With a spotlight panel at New York Comic Con next week, maybe more information about a release date is coming soon.
The Punisher will hit Netflix sometime this year.
