Aquaman actor Jason Momoa is currently filming in Austrailia, specifically the Currumbin area of Queensland. New footage was captured by 7 News Gold Coast of Momoa in costume alongside Mera actress Amber Heard, as the two made their way out into the pulsing waves.

Eventually, the two make their way back towards the beach, ultimately ending up under the tents setup by the crew. Later Heard is seen in her chair as someone makes some adjustments to her costume. It’s quite funny to see the two armored heroes walking amongst the typical beachgoers, something that should provide an amusing scene in the final film.

You can find the footage in the clip above.

The official synopsis for Aquaman has yet to be revealed, but early rumors indicate that it will deal with Arthur begrudgingly accepting his role as King of Atlantis, and attempting to balance his surface duties with his new duties ruling Atlantis.

Before he can get there though there is much growing to be done, and that will be a major part of Aquaman’s journey in Justice League.

“Really, it’s a huge growth for me,” Momoa told SFX Magazine. “It’s a gigantic arc for Arthur Curry. It may be tough for a lot of fans to watch what they’re gonna see, how I portray him. But you gotta wait until we get to the solo movie to really know. Because he’s not king yet. He doesn’t believe in himself, he doesn’t know what to do with the powers he has. He’s going through tons of loss. He hates Atlanteans. The fact that people are calling him ‘Aquaman’ right now โ€” he couldn’t give two shits about anything Atlantean. So he’s really not quite there yet. That’s kind of tough to play. We gotta figure out the origin, where we’re going. Some people will be like, ‘This isn’t my Aquaman.’ But we’re not there yet.”

Fans can get to know Aquaman when Justice League lands in theaters on November 17.
