Arrow‘s sixth season is in full swing and now that fans are getting settled into some of the major changes for Team Arrow following the events on Lian Yu last season, they’re also getting a look at some concept art for Mr. Terrific and Wild Dog.

Illustrator and designer Andy Poon recently took to Instagram to share looks at both Mr. Terrific’s (Echo Kellum) costume as introduced last season as well as Wild Dog’s (Rick Gonzales) new look as debuted in Arrow‘s season premiere. You can check out both looks below.
While the Mr. Terrific costume remains unchanged since its debut in season five, Poon’s concept illustration gives a good look at the details of the costume. The television version of the hero’s costume is complete with the comic book canon details such as “Fairplay” on the jacket’s sleeves and the t-spheres floating nearby.
Poon’s illustration for Wild Dog, however, gives a closer look at the character’s brand-new outfit for season six. As Poon says in his caption for the illustration, Wild Dog’s costume gets an upgrade this year, taking the character from hockey mask and jersey to bona fide heroic gear by giving him a better mask and proper armor – something that came in handy for the character during the season premiere when Diggle (David Ramsey) wasn’t quite able to dispatch a villain before they could injure Wild Dog.
However, not everyone is excited about Wild Dog’s new look. The character’s co-creator Terry Beatty recently took to Facebook to express his displeasure at the character’s updated look, stating that the costume change made the character “literally Wild Dog in name only,” alluding to the differences in the Arrow characters origin as compared to the original, comic book character.
Arrow airs on Thursdays at 9/8c following Supernatural on The CW.
