The Seven Deadly Sins since being created by manga writer and illustrator Nakaba Suzuki in the Weekly Shonen Jump Magazine has inspired an animated TV series and an animated film since being released in 2012. Since then, the manga has sold over 10 million volumes, with the anime first making its debut in 2014. Netflix soon acquired the rights to broadcast the English dub for the series by A1-Pictures, with Crunchyroll released the Japanese version.
Fans of the anime have been waiting quite some time for the second season, with it being announced back in January this year that production began for the Seven Deadly Sins season 2. For those of you who are unfamiliar with the Seven Deadly Sins series then you have plenty of time to catch up before season two premieres. The Seven Deadly Sins tells the historical tale of a group of knights, which once looked over the land of Britannia. However, the knights were unfairly disbanded and went their separate ways, as well as being presumed dead.
Although, since the disbandment of the knights, a group of rouge Holy Knights has overtaken the kingdom, which results in Britannia’s princess looking for the once fabled group. With the help of the Seven Deadly Sins, war is waged over the coveted country. In addition, you can check out how Netflix describes the Seven Deadly Sins in the description below. “When a kingdom is taken over by tyrants, the deposed princess begins a quest to find a disbanded group of evil knights to help take back her realm.”
