Earlier this year, Attack on Titan finally dropped its long-awaited second season. The comeback may have taken a few years to get going, but fans rushed the anime upon its return. Now, Wit Studio is preparing to condense the season into a compilation film, and the movie just got one genius poster.

Over on Twitter, a sample design for Attack on Titan's movie poster went live not long ago. The image, which can be seen below, got the fandom hyped thanks to its clever artwork.

As you can see, the poster is focused mostly on Eren Jaeger. The character is the lead of Attack on Titan, and he had a rather important part to play in season two. Eren saw his entire world flip upside-down after Reiner and Bertholt revealed they were really Titan Shifters. The pair were the ones controlling the Armored and Colossal Titans respectively, and Eren was taken captive by the duo later on in the season.

The movie poster for Attack on Titan teases the upcoming conflict in a genius way. The drawing keeps Eren in a close-up, but the other two Titans are shown in the reflection of the hero's sword. The Colossal and Armored Titan can be seen staring down Eren from far away. As for the boy, he seems determined to cut the pair down, but Eren has not built up his resolve fully. After all, the soldier can be seen crying because of his former comrades' betrayal.

For those unfamiliar with Attack on Titan, the series was originally created by Hajime Isayama. Starting its run in Kondansha's Bessatsu Shonen Magazine in 2009, the series has been collected into 23 volumes as of 2017. It's set in a world where the last remnants of humanity live within a walled city in order to escape the danger of the Titans, a race of giants monsters that eats humans. Eren Yeager joins the military with his two childhood friends Mikasa and Armin after the Titans break through the wall and attack his hometown.

The series was adapted into an anime from Wit Studio and Production I.G. with a third season premiering in 2018. 68 million copies of the manga have been sold as of 2017, and has been met with major critical and commercial success worldwide.
