Attack On Titan Episode 31 Synopsis Teases One Massive Plot Twist

The next episode of Attack on Titan is slated to debut this weekend, and it show’s newly released synopsis is teasing a massive plot twist which only manga fans will see coming.

“A group of Titans surrounding Uggard Castle were repelled by Ymir’s success and the full force of the Survey troops who came to assist. The seriously injured Ymir will be sent to Trost Ward for treatment and the remaining soldiers will continue the Wall Rose repair strategy. However, Hannes who was meant to inform everyone of where the hole is reports that there is no hole anywhere. If there are no holes, then how did the Titans appear inside the wall? Filled with doubts, Eren decides to wait in Trost Ward.”

Hannes has declared there are no holes letting the Titans into the area, meaning the creatures are somehow spawning from within the territory.

However, manga fans will know exactly what the episode will entail; After all, the episode title is taken directly from one of the series’ most mind-blowing chapters. The 42nd chapter of Attack on Titan follows Eren after he makes a shocking discovery about two of his comrades.

In a stunning turn of events, readers watched as Reiner confessed he was the man behind the Armored Titan. The boy also admitted Bertolt was the Titan Shifter who brought the Colossal Titan to life. Reiner says he must own up to his actions, and the two men transform into their Titans after Mikasa attempts to kill them. Reiner and Bertolt then try to kidnap Eren and Ymir, sliding away from Wall Rose without any explanation. However, in a bold move, Eren is able to dislodge himself from their hold and transforms into his Titan form to battle the Armored Titan.
