Dragon Ball’s Kamehameha VR Theme Park Attraction Is Every Fan’s Dream

If you have ever wanted to know what it would be like to Kamehameha your worst enemy, then you need to head to Japan ASAP. The VR Zone Shinjuku theme park is about to open its virtual reality-centric doors, and the center will debut a ground-breaking Dragon Ball Z attraction that every fan will want to try out.

Over on Youtube, a full demonstration of Dragon Ball VR Secret Kamehameha has been released, and otakus are buzzing about it. The clip follows a Japanese host as he shows audiences how the Dragon Ball attraction works, and fans are given a close-up look at what the project entails.

In the video, which can be seen above, the Dragon Ball attraction makes good on its promise to immerse fans more so in the world of Son Goku. The series has release previous VR projects via smartphones, but Dragon Ball Secret Kamehameha is the most complete VR attraction to date. The project asks users to don high-tech VR glasses and hand sensors so the attraction can keep track of how much ki they are summoning.

To start off, the attraction begins by having users shoot of ki-dan. The tiny energy bullets are used to get fans accustomed to the attraction’s mechanics, and then users graduate up to train with one of four characters: Goku, Piccolo, Vegeta, or Krillin. The mentors will teach the user who to charge a deadly Kamehameha blast.

Once training is complete, the real fun begins. The attraction turns into a free-for-all that allows each VR player to take out other players with their Kamehameha blasts. Fans can use real-life senzu bean tokens to heal themselves during the virtual battle, and Dragon Ball Z fans can learn how exhausting one of the show’s prolonged battles are.

Really, it will make fans admire Goku and the Super Saiyan bunch even more so, and that is saying something!
