In the coming month, Dragon Ball Super is set to pick up its pace. Back in February, the anime rejuvenated its audience when a brand-new story arc made its debut. The "Universal Suvival" saga kicked off weeks ago when Goku finally convinced the Omni-Kings to head up a multiverse martial arts tournament. However, as the story has progressed, the warrior has learned just how deadly the event will be.
Not long ago, Goku and the other tournament opponents learned what kind of consequence they will face should they lose their match. The Omni-Kings have elected to destroy the losing universes in order to elevate their multiverse's overall 'Mortal Rank' and no one can do a thing to stop them. As such, Goku is now in-charge of soliciting fighters for his universe's team, and the Saiyan knows just where to start.
After all, how could Goku go to battle at another martial arts tournament without Krillin by his side?
In the newly released synopsis for Dragon Ball Super's 84th episode, fans learn that Goku is on a mission to recruit this friend. The so-called talent scout looks to be determined to bring both Krillin and Android 18 to the team despite their hiatus from fighting. As for Vegeta, it seems like Goku will have an easier time convincing the anti-hero to join the cause; The Saiyan recently had a new child with Bulma, and Vegeta isn't so keen on having the newborn obliterated at the moment.

"As the "Tournament of Power" which they can't afford to lose approaches, Vegeta and Bulma have had their second child. With now one more thing to protect, Goku puts even more effort into selecting the members to compete. In the midst of this, Goku goes to Kuririn and Android No. 18's home."

Dragon Ball Super's "Universal Survival" saga is part of the recent simulcast agreement that sites like Crunchyroll and Funimation have scored. Dragon Ball Super airs on Crunchyroll Saturdays at 7:15 p.m. CST. Toonami will begin airing the English dub on Adult Swim Saturdays at 11:30 p.m.
