Dragon Ball Super is getting ready to pair two universes together for one intense battle. The synopsis for Dragon Ball Super‘s 101st episode is out, and translator Todd Blankenship penned the description in English for fans. You can read part of the summary for “The Impending Warriors of Justice! The Pride Troopers!! below:
“The mighty warriors of Universe 11 attack with teamwork! Goku challenges Jiren of Universe 11, but Jiren sends five of his Pride Troopers comrades (including Kahseral) after Goku and co. To defeat them, Goku teams up with the likes of Kale and Caulifla!
The enemy of my enemy is my friend?! Goku fights alongside Caulifla and [Kale]!!”
Judging by the synopsis above, Goku is going to get himself into a pinch which only Super Saiyans can stop. The hero has been eager to fight Jiren for some time now, but the Pride Trooper leader still doesn’t view Goku as a threat. The fighter will have to be teased by the rest of Universe 11 to get close to their leader, and the female Super Saiyans will move Goku a step closer to his dream.
Of course, it seems unlikely Caulifla will team up with Goku for free. The female Saiyan may barter with the hero for her service, so Caulifla might just make Goku teacher her how to go Super Saiyan 3 after all.
The synopsis of Dragon Ball Super‘s current saga can be read here: “According to an invitation that Goku gets, Zen-Oh (Omni King) is starting a martial arts tournament between all the universes called “Chikara no Taikai” (Tournament of Power). But it is the beginning of universal destruction. Something awaits the winners and losers of this tournament. What will become of this fierce team battle between each universe’s elite warriors?
Dragon Ball Super‘s “Universal Survival” saga is part of the recent simulcast agreement that sites like Crunchyroll and Funimation have scored. Dragon Ball Super airs on Crunchyroll Saturdays at 7:15 p.m. CST. Toonami airs the English dub on Adult Swim Saturdays at 11:30 p.m.
