When it comes to Dragon Ball, fans protect the franchise’s canon at all costs. Akira Toriyama’s long-running series has a complicated history, and otakus have taken it upon themselves to keep non-canon characters from confusing its timeline. Characters like Broly have thrown notable wrenches in those plans before, and God Broly’s creation put some on edge earlier this year – but he’s not done yet.

Now, it looks like the recent power-up is moving beyond a Dragon Ball Z movie, but don’t worry; God Broly will simply be stopping by a video game instead.
Rather than joining in on Dragon Ball Super, God Broly is set to join Dragon Ball Heroes. New scans from a Japanese magazine confirmed God Broly’s transfer to the popular video game series, and Todd Blankenship translated the reveal for fans on Twitter.
If you are not caught up on God Broly, then you don’t have too much to take in. The character was recently created for a new theme park attraction at Universal Studios Japan. Dragon Ball Z opened a new 4-D movie at the park, and the immersive attraction has fans join Goku and Vegeta as they fight God Broly.
