Hasbro has provided additional details on the 12-inch version of their Marvel Legends Series Black Panther figure that debuted at D23 this past weekend. Marvel Legends creator Jesse Falcon was on hand to debut the figure, and it looks as though they did a decent job with it. Not surprisingly, it looks very much like the 6-inch Marvel Legends Series Black Panther figure, albeit with a more detailed face sculpt on the unmasked head.

The Marvel Legends Series 12-inch Black Panther figure will retail for $49.99 when it's released sometime in the Spring of 2018.

If you don't want to wait that long (and you have more money to spend) the coolest Black Panther figure on the market is undoubtedly the Marvel Universe Variant Play Arts Kai Black Panther, which is described thusly:

This Variant figure has a wide range of motion while showing off his massive, yet dignified, physique. Black Panther's suit is carefully crafted with utmost importance placed on utilizing unique materials to mirror its comic book counterpart. A hard material is used to express the special metal, known as Vibranium, that makes up his nearly unbreakable armor. Meanwhile, the inner layer of his suit is made of cloth that stretches to show off his muscular body. The colors help bring out just how much of a contrast there is between the shine of the armor and the elasticity of the cloth.

Multiple shades of black are adorned with silver accents, including his iconic necklace, helping provide contour and shine across his body. This figure's interchangeable and highly expressive parts allow you to customize him, while staying true to the charm and appeal of Black Panther's sharp and enigmatic persona.

Beyond that, there's the Black Panther figure that Hot Toys created for Civil War. The original run of that figure has sold out, but you can still get your hands on it if you know where to look.
