Lucy Owens is a Texas-based screenwriter and filmmaker whose work has been recognized at prestigious festivals like Slamdance and the Austin Film Festival. She is a co-founder of the independent production company Lemon St. Pictures, which specializes in micro-budget narrative film and music videos. While Lucy’s poetry and editorial photography have also appeared in online and print publications, movies are her true passion. She dedicates much of her time to both writing films and writing about them.
