Veteran Defender Nighthawk returns as team leader of the Defenders in The Last Defenders #1 (of 6). With a superpowered team consisting of Blazing Skull, She Hulk, and Colossus, the Defenders battle the Sons of Serpents in their first mission and awaken the feared Aztec god, Quetzalcoatl. The Last Defenders #1 is written by Joe Casey and penciled by Jim Muniz. The Last Defenders #1 will hit the street on 3/12/08.
