Ever since Marcus Johnson, better known as Nick Fury, Jr. and now the primary Nick Fury of the Marvel Universe, was introduced and his older, white father was essentially written out of the stories, there have been a number of long-time fans who, every single time the character appears in one of our stories, appear in the comments threat to bemoan the fact that he's not the "real" Nick Fury. Well, those fans have their Nick Fury back. They just have to go head on over to the Ultimate Universe to find him. In the solicitation for Ultimate Comics Ultimates, which ships its #22 and #23 issues in March, Sam Humphries and Joe Bennett will apparently reintroduce the old white-skinned, white-templed version of the beloved super spy in a story that focuses on Hydra apparently going up against President Cap and the Ultimates, only to find themselves facing down Fury Classic. (At least that's what we're assuming is going on here; I mean, he's standing among the bodies, but also wearing a S.H.I.E.L.D. logo, so it seems less likely he's a bad guy in that scenario.) Check out the solicitation text below.
