I, Frankenstein To Be Released in IMAX

Lionsgate confirmed today that I, Frankenstein, their forthcoming comic book adaptation starring The Dark Knight's Aaron Eckhart, will be released in IMAX theaters around the U.S. and in select overseas territories on January 24, 2014. The film is set for release in the U.S. in all formats that same day, with staggered international release. The release was originally set for 2013 but was delayed, reportedly to upconvert to 3-D. I, Frankenstein was written and helmed by Stuart Beattie and stars Eckhart, Pirates of the Caribbean's Bill Nighy and Chuck's Yvonne Strahovski.
