We've been hearing a lot about a trial and judgment the last few days from Marvel, so I suppose it's only right that today they would announce a new, ongoing series starring arguably their best-known lawyer. That would be Jennifer Walters, better known as the She-Hulk. And besides appearing regularly on Hulk and the Agents of S.M.A.S.H. on Disney XD, the character will also be getting her own series as part of the All-New Marvel Now program. "She-Hulk has always been a title where weird, cool things can happen," incoming writer Charles Soule told USA Today. "She is a strong — very strong — female character, and comics absolutely cannot have too many of those There's no reason Jennifer Walters can't be iconic, and we're going to do what we can to make that happen." Writers to take a swing at the Jade Giantess in recent years include legendary Hulk and X-Factor scribe Peter David and longtime Spider-Man writer Dan Slott. Both of their runs were fan-favorite and critically-acclaimed...but low-selling. "One of the things I want to explore is the fact that she wants to be exceptional at everything she does, but that's not always possible. You can spread yourself too thin," Soule said. "She'll be out on her own, without much of a support group at first, a total underdog trying to make good. I love stories like that — Jen's going to be very easy to root for." The All-New Marvel Now She-Hulk #1 will come out in February 2014 and feature art by Javier Pulido.
