Yes, the A-Team are looking to make a comeback and Deadline has the exclusive.
According to Deadline, the series will still focus on a group of former military and special ops, who were framed for a crime they didn’t commit. Though, unlike the original, the team will feature both male and female members this time around.
The series will be helmed by Fast & Furious writer-producer Chris Morgan, who will executive produce with original A-Team creator Stephen J. Cannell’sdaughter, TV director Tawnia McKiernan. Sleepy Hollow executive producer Albert Kim is writing the adaptation.
The original A-Team was a staple of 80’s television, and even spawned their own comic book and toys. It helped launch the career of Mr. T as he soon became a pop cultural icon. In 2010, 20th Century Fox released a live-action film based on the show starring Liam Neeson, Curtis Jackson, and Bradley Cooper.
