Amazing Spider-Man 2 IMAX Featurette Released

Sony Pictures has released a new featurette for The Amazing Spider-Man 2 on IMAX.Director Marc Webb and producers Avi Arad and Matt Tolmach discuss why bringing The Amazing Spider-Man 2 to IMAX is something special.”Spider-Man was born for IMAX,” says Arad.”This, I think, is the biggest Spider-Man movie to date,” says Webb. “IMAX, in particular, is a wonderful environment in which to immerse yourself in the film…It’s a very special, almost physiological kind of experience you go through when you’re watching it on IMAX that I think is uniquely suited to Spider-Man.””It look great in 3D, but, in IMAX, you’re out of your seat,” says Tolmach.In The Amazing Spider-Man 2, Peter Parker runs the gauntlet as the mysterious company Oscorp sends up a slew of supervillains against him, impacting on his life.The Amazing Spider-Man 2 comes to theaters and IMAX May 2.
