Avengers Easter Egg In Daredevil Netflix Show

There’s plenty of fallout from the events of Marvel’s The Avengers in the newly-released Marvel’s Daredevil…but all in the background.

Elden Henson, who plays Foggy Nelson in the Netflix series, told reporters that the environment that Wilson “Kingpin” Fisk used to rise to power was possible because of the events of The Avengers, after all. And there are name-drops here and there, even as we’ve seen in the trailers.

But there’s one recurring prop that’s a bit more subtle: A newspaper talking about the Battle of New York behind Ben Urich at his desk at work.
