This is one of the coolest Avengers movie trailer recreations that we’ve ever seen. The trailer was uploaded to YouTube by LeoCurbeloFilms, and it is done mostly with animation clips from 1960’s Marvel TV cartoons. The Nick Fury clips are said to be from a 1995 Iron Man episode.Of course, Nick Fury is Caucasian in the trailer recreation, because that was how he appeared in the original Marvel Universe. The Nick Fury in the Ultimate Marvel Universe is African-American, and he is also of course African-American in the Marvel Movie Universe where he is portrayed by Samuel L. Jackson. The recreation is expertly done with the audio matching perfectly with the scenes. Be sure to stick around to the end because the image used for the Leviathan is hilarious. For the most part the animated characters match up with movie characters, but there is one brief clip where Prince Namor the Sub-Mariner is shown with the other team member. Then again, there are lots of rumors that the Sub-Mariner will pop up in the Avengers movie, so maybe the recreation trailer is revealing a spoiler. The Avengers movie is set to arrive in theaters on May 4, 2012.
