EA is getting ready to launch the next entry in the long-running Battlefield franchise, and the company is holding a special event for the game on May 6th.

The event will include a first look at the new game, and hopefully, it will be much more than just a spliced together trailer. I’m sure I’m not alone in wanting to see some actual gameplay.
The last entry in the franchise was Battlefield Hardline, which met a somewhat mixed reception, sitting at a 5.0 among users on Metacritic. While Battlefield 4 was well-received gameplay wise, it suffered from so many technical issues at launch that it marred the product overall. Hopefully, the newest entry can get things back on track.
