Big Hero 6 Poster Revealed

Walt Disney Animation have released the first poster for their upcoming Marvel Comics […]
Big Hero 6

Posted to social media with the caption, “‘Hello! I am Baymax.’ Check out the new poster for Disney’s Big Hero 6,” it’s hard to say whether, officially speaking, this is Baymax’s character poster or just the movie’s poster, since the character has, thus far, been the biggest part they’re promoting by a wide margin.

The film, which is promoted as being “from the makers of Wreck-it Ralph and Frozen,” will open on November 7, making it the second Marvel adaptation in as many years (after Thor: The Dark World) to bow in that same weekend (Thor was released November 8, 2013).

That said, it seems worth noting that (unlike every other project they’re attached to) the Marvel logo doesn’t appear anywhere on this poster.

Big Hero 6 is an action-packed comedy adventure about robotics prodigy Hiro Hamada, who learns to harness his genius — thanks to his brilliant brother Tadashi and their like-minded friends: adrenaline junkie Go Go Tamago, clean freak Wasabi No-Ginger, chemistry whiz Honey Lemon and fanboy Fred. When a devastating turn of events catapults them into the midst of a dangerous plot unfolding in the streets of San Fransokyo, Hiro turns to his closest companion — a cutting-edge robot named Baymax—and transforms the group into a band of high-tech heroes determined to solve the mystery. Inspired by the Marvel comics of the same name, and featuring comic-book style action and all the heart and humor audiences expect from Walt Disney Animation Studios.
