Also, the movie, out May 1, will include many other superpowered characters seen in previous films, including a few surprises, but rumors of Captain Marvel getting an introduction are false, Feige promises. There is a secret female character, but she may be familiar already. “It’s not a big deal. But it’s a good character,” he says. – EW

For over a year, rumors have been circulating that Carol Danvers, aka Captain Marvel, would make at least a cameo in Avengers: Age Of Ultron. So, she won’t appear in that and if we believe James Gunn she also won’t appear in Guardians of the Galaxy 2. Would Marvel start her journey in her own 2018 solo film?

In the comics, Carol owes her superpowers to a Kree device that changes her genetic structure, so it seemed to make sense to introduce her now since Marvel has introduced Kree storylines in Guardians of the Galaxy and Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D..

When and where do you think we’ll first meet Carol?

A Captain Marvel film is scheduled for release on November 2, 2018
