Well, it’s not exactly “a revolution,” but it’s pretty neat, and we did promise we’d follow up on it.Total Film is launching their new iPad app today, a new way for fans to interact with the magazine’s content. In celebration of the event, they hooked up with Warner Brothers to do a Dark Knight Rises-centric issue of the magazine including, among other things, exclusive still images from the film and an interview with Tim Burton. There’s also an exclusive shot of Tom Hardy’s Bane (shown at right) on their website, along with a brief Q&A with the actor. “It’s not as bad as you might think,” Hardy told Total Film of the mask he wears as Bane. “You just put it on. Work out where you drool goes. That’s it. Mask work is good fun. This one wasn’t painful; there was the stunt mask and there was the up-close on for the sexy glam shots.”
