So, you know how those recent KFC commercials have been playing with different actors portraying Colonel Sanders, each declaring that they’re the real one? Apparently it’s all building up to a crisis, and DC Comics is helping that play out this weekend at New York Comic Con.

This is not a joke.

DC and KFC have teamed up for The Colonel of Two Worlds, a special one-shot that pits Colonel Sanders against himself (and The Flash, and Green Lantern and a couple Rogues I guess?). The story is a play on words on “The Flash of Two Worlds,” the story that truly established the DC Multiverse, thanks to Barry Allen and Jay Garrick meeting each other. That story is being (at least loosely) adapted to the small screen on season 2 of The Flash, and gets a different shot here.

The issue is from Tony Bedard and Tom Derenick, and features the Earth-3 version of Colonel Sanders causing trouble for the real one.

Check out the preview below that debuted on THR, pick it up at NYCC (or online if you’re not attending), and start campaigning for the Darrel Hammond and Norm Macdonald film adaptation right… now.
