People like to believe everything they read on the internet and that is why a popular rumor that is circulating the internet is that The Maze Runner star Dylan O’Brien has already been cast as the new Spider-Man. There’s one little problem with that: Dylan O’Brien hasn’t auditioned for it nor has he even been contacted about the role.
Earlier today, Dylan O’Brien was asked about the rumors, which began from aย Reddit posting, while he was on the set of MTV’s Teen Wolf. “Professionally, I haven’t heard anything about it,” O’Brien toldย BuzzFeed. “I’ve only heard from, like, [rumors] online.”

“It feels so weird to say,” O’Brien added with a chuckle. “It’s so funny. My friends from New Jersey are calling me. They’re like, what are you not telling me, dude?! Spider-Man?!”
Many people were excited by the rumor as most people know that O’Brien is a huge Spider-Man fan. “You can tell them that it’s not true,” O’Brien stated.
Next Spider-Man film will arrive July 28, 2017.
