Negan is coming to The Walking Dead and he’s going to shake things up in a big way when he arrives.

Fans of The Walking Dead comics know, Negan isn’t playing around. As much as we may not want to admit it, we all have a favorite Negan moment, even if it broke our heart or infuriated us.
While we wait for The Walking Dead‘s Valentine’s Day return, let’s take a look at five Negan moments we hope to see adapted to The Walking Dead‘s TV show. Be warned, this does mean major spoilers for The Walking Dead’s comics and possibly the TV series.
Guts
ย
Spencer Monroe successfully pissed us all of when he made the boneheaded decision of trying to rappel himself over a horde of zombies outside of the Safe-Zone walls. That boneheaded decision making process earned his death a spot on this list. That, and, well, it shows how diabolical Negan is.
Neganย busts into Alexandria in his typical narcissistic fashion and when Spencer doesn’t do exactly what he asks, Neganย questions whether or not Spencer has guts. To be sure, he cuts open Spencer’s abdomen, spilling his guts out, and laughing at the fact that Spencer does have guts after all.
Robert Kirkmanย teased the moment while on Talking Dead, making a remark about Spencer having guts.
Carl’s Eye
ย
First of all, we need to see Carl get shot in the eye. But after that, we need to see Neganย force him to unveil his scar.ย
The scar on Carl’s face becomes quite a humbling characteristic for the young character but it doesn’t stop Neganย from forcing him to show it off – and sing.ย
The Wives
ย
Part of Negan’sย character is he has a whole bunch of wives. He’s such a sociopath and it was a blast to read so let’s hope it makes it onto television.
The ruthless leader of the Saviors forces his men to hand over their girlfriends, who submit to acting as his “wives” and doing whatever he wants. Neganย doesn’t allow rape in or by his gang, though, so they have to be willing.ย
It’s twisted.
Zombie Weapons
ย
ย
Finally, someone realized that if you cover your weapons in zombie guts, one blood-drawing strike will be enough to kill any enemy.
During the war between Neganย and Rick’s groups, Neganย covers his army’s weapons with zombie guts to ensure that if any of members of Rick’s group are struck, they will die eventually, if not killed immediately.
It made for an interesting cliffhangerย with an issue involving Dwight and Rick.
Kill Glenn
ย
Negan has to kill Glenn. Yes, I said it.
We only get one chance to adapt these pages to television and this moment, this terrifically horrific moment in issue #100, is too iconic of a moment in The Walking Dead‘s history to change even a little bit. We’re alreadyย going to have to give up the colorful language Neganย likes to use (a Something To Fear and All Out War movie would’ve been epic) so let’s not give up his insane introduction.
And then he can kill a bunch of other people, too.
