Smith won a BAFTA Award for his role as The (Eleventh) Doctor on the global phenomenon, Doctor Who. His other well-known roles include parts in Womb, Christopher and His Kind, and this summer’s Terminator Genisys. He currently has two projects in post-production and is filming a TV series titled, The Crown.
Prior to acting fame, Smith aspired to be a professional soccer player, but an injury derailed those dreams, apparently for something greater!
