Sanrio has since then clarified their comment, but it seems that late night host Jimmy Kimmel still needed some help.
Kimmel invited a “Sanrio representative” to the show to help clarify the company’s statement. After talking in circles for a bit, the representative eventually gives up and asks to just hug it out.
