What started as a joke has turned into a cultural phenomenon thanks to the magic of Twitter and the rest of social media. An event surfaced on Facebook earlier this week convincing people to sign up to help raid Area 51 and…well, it has turned out just about as well as you’d expect. As of this writing, over 750,000 people have marked that they’re going.

“We will all meet up at the Area 51 Alien Center tourist attraction and coordinate our entry,” the event’s description explains. “If we naruto run, we can move faster than their bullets. Lets see them aliens.”
