When The CW released its schedule this morning, Veronica Mars creator Rob Thomas’s iZombie — a loose adaptation of Chris Roberson and Mike Allred’s Vertigo comics — wasn’t on it.The pilot has been picked up to series but, like the recently-renewed The 100, it will serve as a midseason premiere for the network, and won’t be scheduled until The CW knows what their mid-season situation looks like.As a consolation for fans eager to get a look at the adaptation, The CW have released a lengthy synopsis of the series, complete with details on the new characters created for the show (which is most of them, as the supporting cast from the comic don’t appear in the pilot).You can check it out below.
