Over the years, Simmons has frequently been quizzed on whether he might return as Jameson in a Spider-Man reboot, since his is arguably the most universally-beloved casting ever in a comic book movie. He’s always said that he’s open to it, but two reboots on had recently started to acknowledge it seemed less likely.
Justice League, written by Chris Terrio (Argo) and directed by Snyder, is expected to start filming in April for a November 2017 release.
