The first official teaser trailer for Skyfall, Daniel Craig’s third and forthcoming James Bond film from MGM/Columbia Pictures, has hit the web and it’s pretty intriguing.Starting with a slow-burning montage of images during which Bond is subject to a word-association test, that portion of the ad ends when, having heard the word “Skyfall,” there’s a long pause followed by the response “Done.” Then, there’s about a minute of action and explosions which includes a cryptic shot of what appears to be a mysterious, faceless villain.So far, the film looks like the natural extension of Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace, continuing the grittier take on Bond that made Martin Campbell a household name–before he blew it all on Green Lantern.Skyfall will be in theaters November 9, 2012.
