Since The Walking Dead is one of the most popular and most talked about television shows, it has developed a very loyal and very passionate fanbase. However, there are some that take their fandom a bit too far, such as the fan that sunk her teeth into Norman Reedus last year at New Jersey’s Walker Stalker Con and multiple women sending Reedus their breast implants (gross!).

This season, the show has focused on Negan, a menacing villain that brutally killed Glenn, Abraham, Spencer, turned the take charge Rick Grimes into his lap dog, and married the wives of his own Saviors. Even though he is a pretty awful human being, he can be charming and twistedly-funny at times.

Even so, when some fans see Jeffrey Dean Morgan โ€” who portrays the character and last night won a Critics’ Choice Award For Best Guest Perfomance In A Drama Series for that portrayal โ€” out in public with his son they give him a greeting that is better suited for Negan.

“Boy, this show has a fandom level that I have never seen before,” Morgan said while appearing on Harry Connick Jr.’s talk show. “Just walking down the street yesterday, I took my kid to Macys to see Santa โ€” my wife and I โ€” and we’re walking back… We decided it’s a beautiful day, so we’ll walk homeโ€”back to the hotel where we’re staying. And I got some person across the street just: ‘F–k you, Negan!’ And I’m with my kid, so I’m trying to cover my kid’s ears. And he’s like, ‘Dad, they love you!’”
