During a Wizard World New Orleans panel for Captain America: Civil War, directors Joe and Anthony Russo were asked if we’ll see Wakanda, the home of Black Panther/T’Challa (Chadwick Boseman) which is a technologically advanced African nation that has isolated itself from much of the world.

Anthony responded to the question first by going into a long spiel about how he doesn’t want to spoil the film and then stressed how Black Panther has a “very important part in the story” and an “amazing arc.” He concluded by saying, “Whether or not Wakanda is involved in it remains on the table.”
But before the next fan could ask them a question, Joe leaped in and explained that Anthony would have simply said “no” if Wakanda wasn’t in the film. “If you’re going to see Wakanda, we go, ‘Listen, we can’t tell you whether or not you’re going to see Wakanda,’” he said. “You’re probably going to see Wakanda.”
