Josh Duhamel is officially returning to the Transformers franchise with its fifth installment: The Last Knight.

Duhamel was largely expected to return but the official Transformers Instragram account confirmed his involvement with the upcoming film earlier today.

Duhamel appeared in the first three Transformers films before sitting out the fourth, Age of Extinction, along with most of the original trilogy’s cast. He is joining Mark Wahlberg, who debuted in the franchise with Age of Exctinction, and franchise newcomers Isabella Moner and Jerrod Carmichael.
Transformers: The Last Knight is set for release June 23, 2017.
