Like Watchmen, apparently Geoff Johns’ and Jim Lee’s Justice League #1, the first book of DC’s New 52 relaunch, will simply never go out of print. With the series’ first hardcover–Justice League: Origin–hitting stands this week and the creative team heading to New York on Friday for a signing appearance at Midtown Comics, it would have seemed as though anyone looking to get their hands on the first issue of Justice League (now available for only 99 cents on ComiXology, just like the rest of the New 52’s first issues) would have figured out another way to do so by now. Apparently not, though: DC Comics announced yesterday that the issue has sold out yet again and is heading back to press for an eighth printing.Last year’s best-selling American print comic book issue will be back in stores–again–on June 6.
